Vikings vs. Eagles Parlay Analysis

Vikings vs. Eagles 8:20PM ET

LEG 1: Justin Jefferson Anytime Touchdown

Justin Jefferson didn't score a touchdown in Week 1, and that alone should be enough to put the fear of god into the Philly defense, as well as anyone who is thinking about fading the wide receiver.

Despite a luckless opening weekend in the endzone, Jefferson was the obvious No. 1 option for Kirk Cousins, racking up an enormous 150 yards on nine catches against the Bucs. You don't get this man at plus money for touchdowns too often, so our model is gobbling this one up to anchor our primetime parlay, instilling Jefferson as the most likely Viking touchdown scorer with a 49.8% probability.

LEG 2: Kirk Cousins Under 262.5 Passing Yards

Yes, while we expect Jefferson to find his way into the endzone, that doesn't necessarily mean we expect his QB to have another stellar passing game on Thursday night. In fact, our DimersBOT player prop predictor is fading Kirk Cousins.

The Eagles were uncharacteristic on Sunday against the Patriots, giving up 306 yards in the air with was the fourth worst result of any team in action in Week 1. Even though they got the win, it wasn't a performance that a team who were ranked first in the same category a year ago would be proud of. Jefferson is a threat to go for triple digits, no doubt, but expect a more assured response from the reigning NFC champs. Our model predicts Cousins to go for 247 passing yards.

LEG 3: Jalen Hurts Under 45.5 Rushing Yards

Our model is fading another quarterback on Thursday night, this time Jalen Hurts and his rushing yards as he comes up a rush defense that was elite in Week 1. The Bucs ran the ball 26 times against Minnesota on Sunday, only getting an average of 2.2 yards per attempt. With the logjam of guys that can run in Philly including De'Andre Swift - who Eagles OC Brian Johnson admitted needs more touches - as well as the possible inclusion of last week's healthy scratch Rashaad Penny who should come in for the injured Kenneth Gainwell, our model believes there's just too many cooks in the kitchen trying to go at a towering defense. We've got Hurts going for 42 rushing yards, but even that might be generous.
