Los Angeles Chargers vs. Houston Texans

This is the ultimate bounce back spot for LA, immediately following their debacle of a blowout loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Chargers are a good football team that needs a win.

The match-up to watch here is the Chargers' league-worst rushing attack facing the Texans' league-worst run defense. Austin Ekeler has been bottled up to this point, much to the frustrations of his fantasy owners. But we expect a breakout game from Ekeler with running lanes galore. We think a blowout Chargers win could be incoming.

Detroit Lions vs. Seattle Seahawks

The new-look Lions lead the league in explosive plays through three weeks and we're buying that it's not a fluke. Detroit is 3-0 ATS and ranks third in the league in total offense and second in the league in scoring. They will have no problems finding the end zone at home against the lowly Seahawks, and even though there are some injury rumors, Detroit has the depth at the skill positions to keep the offense humming.

The Seahawks have had the benefit of an easy schedule early in the season (their opponents are just 2-4 against non-Seattle teams), and still finds themselves at 1-2. With a 1PM kickoff in the midwest, Seattle might need a cup of Starbucks or two to wake up their defense enough to keep this close against the Lions.

Green Bay Packers vs. New England Patriots

Packers -9 (-110)

Mac Jones is out for New England, leaving a Patriots team that has already lacked luster with Jones under center in a difficult position facing Green Bay at Lambeau. Aaron Rodgers has once again taken his misfit toys at wide receiver and turned them into something respectable — the latest breakout star being rookie Romeo Doubs.

With Jones, it would be easier to see this one staying close, but we predict an easy win for the Packers without him. The 9-point spread may feel like a lot, but we only need one deep ball to Doubs midway through the first quarter and it won't feel like much after that.
