Syracuse Orange vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Syracuse suffered their first loss of the season last week at Clemson, but they impressed us in the process. The Orange jumped out to an early lead and controlled much of the game, forcing turnovers and capitalizing off of momentum swings.

Syracuse has a great chance to bounce back here at home against a Notre Dame team that has underwhelmed against opponents of all shapes and sizes this season. Cuse's balanced attack offensively will be too much for the Irish to overcome, and we love the Orange to get the job done at home.

Oklahoma State Cowboys vs. Kansas State Wildcats

For a moment last week, Kansas State looked well on its way to sole possession of first place in the Big 12. With starting quarterback Adrian Martinez out for the game, the Wildcats turned to their backup who promptly led them to a 28-10 lead late in the first half against TCU. But then the backup got injured, and Kansas State needed their third stringer to finish the game. 

Martinez is expected back in this one, but we have concerns about how effective he will be. Last week's loss is enough to suck the life out of a team like Kansas State — and Oklahoma State still has everything to play for. Spencer Sanders led the Cowboys to a critical win last week against a more talented Texas team, and this week Oklahoma State will be the more talented team on both sides. Give us the Cowboys to win a big one.

Florida Gators vs. Georgia Bulldogs

The defending NCAA champs have had an up-and-down year. It never feels great betting against the Bulldogs, but after losing so much talent to the NFL last season, they don't possess the same blowout pop against talented teams that they did a year ago. Case and point would be close wins against Kent State and Missouri.

Florida has also had their fair share of ups and downs, but one thing nobody questions is the talent of their dual-threat quarterback Anthony Richardson. Florida has already gone toe to toe with one of the other SEC powerhouses, as the Tennessee game went down the final possession. We could easily see that happening here, and we think a Florida cover is much more likely than a Georgia blowout.
