Should've Bet That: Looking Back at Week 7 Bets You May Have Missed

We look back through the bets that you might have missed from NFL Week 7 to determine whether they're a sign of things to come, or only a fluke. The team on the Dimers show 'Should've Bet That' also dissects a week in which we rue a number of 'what might have been?' moments.

If you haven't already, you should consider signing up for DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️ as you can turn a $5 pre-game moneyline bet on any game into a free $200 if your team wins.

The Bet: Carolina Panther Running Back Overs

We start in Carolina where the big news heading into the weekend was the trade of Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey to the 49ers.

The loss of McCaffrey opened up opportunities for D’onta Foreman and Chuba Hubbard. In the lead up to this one there was some conjecture around who would get the majority of the carries against the Bucs, but as it turned out, you were safe in betting either one, or both! Foreman and Hubbard both cleared their lines with ease and Hubbard notched a touchdown in the upset win also.

We should definitely consider putting the RB room from Carolina on our radar for the next few weeks.

The Bet: Josh Jacobs 3+ TDs +1200

It was a big Sunday for bettors that like to bet on guys to have multiple touchdowns, but the standout stars were Mecole Hardman of the Chiefs and Josh Jacobs of the Raiders who put three on the Texans. That makes it six touchdowns in the last three games for Jacobs who has emerged as one of the in-form RBs in the NFL.

He may not tally three every week, but Jacobs to find the end zone feels like one of the safer bets in sports right now, and we're keeping an eye on it for next week and beyond.

The Bet: Tampa Bay Bucs Lowest Team Score +4300

Tampa Bay’s season went from bad to worse with a big loss to the Panthers on Sunday where they could only put up one field goal, giving them the unwanted title as lowest score of the weekend, which paid a handsome +4300.

Tom Brady is starting to feel the heat but does the turmoil engulfing the Bucs and Brady make them a candidate to fade in the second half of the season? We certainly think it's time to come to that conclusion.
