The Minnesota Wild visit the Colorado Avalanche in a Central Division showdown tonight at Ball Arena.

These teams are battling for the Division crown as the Wild are currently in first with 95 points but the Avs are right behind as they are tied with Dallas for second, both with 94 points.

Despite the injury to superstar forward Kirill Kaprizov, the Wild have climbed the standings. Minnesota is 6-1-2 in Kirill’s absence and they have been led by Matt Boldy.

Boldy has scored 11 goals in those nine games, including two hat tricks. nine of those goals have come in the last five games. When goal scorers are hot, they tend to shoot more, which is where I am looking tonight.

Boldy leads the Wild with 34 shots on goal during this nine game stretch. Although he has only hit this prop in 4 of those games, he’s been firing the puck.
