PICK: Calgary Flames at Winnipeg Jets Under 6 (-105)
The Calgary Flames travel to Winnipeg tonight to take on the Jets in what is a very important game for both teams.
The Jets currently occupy the second and final Wild Card spot in the Western conference. Calgary sits two points out and they have played one more game than the Jets.
Both of these teams have to ability to lock it down defensively, especially when they face each other.
The Under 6 is 7-0-3 over the last 10 head to head encounters, with the average amount of goals being five per game.
While the Flames tend to score more on the road, the Jets absolutely lock it down at home where the under is 23-11 in their games this season.
In goal, one would think the Jets will go with Connor Hellebuyck, who is a consistent Vezina-like net minder.
Jacob Markstrom started for Calgary last night (loss to Chicago) so Sutter could turn to Dan Vladar tonight.
Either way I am comfortable with this Under as I expect this game to be played with a very high playoff type intensity.
