PICK: Maple Leafs at Sabres Over 6.5 (-130)
Atlantic Division foes do battle as the Toronto Maple Leafs visit the Buffalo Sabres tonight at KeyBank Center.
The Leafs, who acquired Ryan O’Reilly last week, are coming off a disappointing 5-3 loss in Chicago on Sunday.
Toronto sits in second place in the division, with a three point lead on Tampa Bay. The Buffalo Sabres are home from a three game West Coast trip, in which they went 2-1 on.
Buffalo is fighting for a Wild Card spot as they are four points behind the surging Florida Panthers.
One thing is for sure, when these teams get together, there are usually goals scored. The Over 6.5 is 7-3 over the previous 10 meetings, with an average of seven goals a game..
On the road this season, Toronto is averaging 3.2 goals per game and allowing 2.8. At home this season, the Sabres are averaging 3.6 goals per game and allowing 3.7 goals per game.
There is plenty of offensive firepower between both these teams and I am expecting another high scoring affair.
I’ll back the Over 6.5 (-130) with BetMGM.
