Kraken vs. Sharks Best Bets
Monday, February 20, 2023 - 4:00PM ET
PICK: Seattle Kraken Team Total Over 3.5 (-105)
The Seattle Kraken make a short trip down to San Jose where they face the Sharks this afternoon at SAP Center.
The Kraken have won two games in a row, scoring 10 goals in those two games. They currently sit in third place in the Pacific Division but are only two points behind Las Vegas for first.
The Kraken hold the league's best offense on the road this season, where they are averaging 3.9 goals per game.
Seattle's road Power Play is twelfth in the league but they have scored the most five on five goals, at 83. Conversely, the Sharks are allowing 3.9 goals per game at home this season, which is second most.
Their home Penalty Kill is 3rd best, at 85%, but they have allowed the fourth most five on five goals, at 74.
James Reimer is confirmed to start in goal for the Sharks. Reimer has a 3.31 goals against average and a .895 save percentage on the season.
This is the second meeting this season between these teams as Seattle took the first encounter by an 8-5 score at Climate Pledge Arena.
I still don't trust Seattle's goaltending, so instead of going with a regulation line, or even -1, I'll roll with their Team Total over as they should be able to fill the net today in San Jose.
So bet Kraken Team Total Over 3.5 (-108) with BetMGM today.
