PICK: Buffalo Sabres Team Total Over 4 (+108)
The Buffalo Sabres continue their 4 game homestand as they host the Philadelphia Flyers tonight at KeyBank Center.
Buffalo is coming off a thrilling 6-5 overtime win against the Minnesota Wild on Saturday night. The Sabres are 20-15-2 on the season and are leading the NHL in goals per game, at four.
On home ice, the Sabres offense has been more lethal as they lead the league averaging 4.2 goals per game. Buffalo has scored at least four goals in 13 of their 19 home games and have gone over four goals in seven of those games.
They are led by Tage Thompson, who is having a spectacular season. Thompson leads the team in goals (31) and points (56). After a 4 game winning streak, against lesser competition, the Philadelphia Flyers came crashing back down to reality last night as they suffered a 6-2 home loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs and now they hit the road, where they are allowing 3.1 goals per game.
This is the first meeting of the season but the Flyers have historically struggled against the Sabres. Buffalo has won each of the last 5 meetings and they have scored 4 or more goals in 6 of the last 7 head to head matchups.
I like that trend to continue tonight and I’ll take Buffalo's Team Total Over 4 (+108) with BetMGM today.
