Canucks vs. Ducks Best Bets
Tuesday, April 11, 2023 - 10:00PM ET
PICK: Canucks 3-way at Ducks (+105)
PICK: Quinn Hughes over 2.5 SOG (+130)
The Vancouver Canucks visit the Anaheim Ducks tonight at Honda Center.
Both these teams have long been eliminated from playoff contention but one has a bit more to play for this evening.
After going through a coaching change earlier in the season, the Vancouver Canucks have an opportunity to finish the season above .500 as they sit at 36-37-7, with two games remaining on the year.
Vancouver has performed much better under Rick Tocchet and finishing the year on a high note would carry momentum into next season.
The Ducks, on the other hand, are in the think of the draft lottery as they currently have 58 points, which is third least in the league, with two games remaining.
The Canucks will look to sweep the season series tonight as they hold wins of 8-5, 3-2 (OT) and 2-1 on the year.
We should see Thatcher Demko in goal for Vancouver, which gives them a significant edge in net.
I’ll take the Canucks to win this game in regulation, at plus money.
I’m also going to look at a player props on the Vancouver side tonight and that is defenseman Quinn Hughes.
Quinn has hit his shot on goal prop and six of his last eight road games. Over his last 10 road games is averaging, 3.1 shots per game and 5.9 attempts per game.
Hughes registered four shots on goal in Anaheim on March 19. At home to season the ducks are allowing 11.9 shots on goal per game to defenseman which is the most in the league.
I’ll gladly give Quinn a look tonight at plus money to eclipse his shot on goal prop.
So bet the Canucks 3-way at Ducks (+105) and Quinn Hughes over 2.5 SOG (+130) with BetMGM.
