Avalanche vs. Sharks Best Bets

PICK: Avalanche Team Total Over 4 (+123)
The Colorado Avalanche head to San Jose to take on the Sharks tonight at SAP Center.
The Avalanche are fighting for the Central Division crown as they currently sit in third place, two points behind the Dallas Stars for the top spot.
The Avs get a nice matchup tonight as they have dominated the Sharks lately. Colorado has won eight of the last night meetings and averaged 4.3 goals per game while doing so.
These teams have only met one other time this season, which was a 6-0 decision, won by Colorado, earlier this month in Denver. The Avs offense is rolling right now.
Since the All Star break they are averaging 3.7 goals per game, which is fourth best in the league. San Jose has had its struggles all season, especially defensively.
San Jose is allowing 3.7 goals per game, which is third worst in the league. Since the break, they are allowing a fifth worst, 3.8 goals per game.
Kaapo Kahkonen get the nod in goal and he has been a great fade this season. Kahkonen has a 3.83 goals against average and a .880 save percentage. Over his last seven starts, Kaapo has allowed 33 goals.
While San Jose is on a nice little winning streak, I think that ends tonight as the Avs should be hungry for a win.
I’ll back their Team Total over, at an alternate line, at plus money, so bet the Avalanche Team Total Over 4 (+123) with BetMGM.
