Carolina Panthers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Two of the worst teams in the NFL against the spread face off here, as the Panthers are just 1-5 ATS and the Bucs are just 2-4. With floundering offenses on both sides, it's tough to expect brilliance from either team in this matchup.

11 feels like way too many points for this Bucs group to be favored by on the road against anybody. Tampa Bay is averaging just 20.2 points per game, and they have the lowest-ranked rushing attack in the entire league. If PJ Walker can find the end zone just once in this game, we like Carolina's chances to cover at home.

New York Jets vs. Denver Broncos

Bet Broncos -1 (-110)

Two of the best defenses in the NFL square off in this one, with the Jets looking for their first 5-2 start in over ten years. The Jets have won some improbable games this season, frequently outscoring their opponents late in games and swinging results in the final drive.

While Russell Wilson has struggled on the big stage, a dose of a non-primetime home game could do him and the Broncos some good. Denver's defense ranks in the top five in pass defense and scoring defense, and we don't see Zach Wilson making many big plays in the altitude. We'll take the home team to cover here.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Francisco 49ers

Chiefs -2.5 (-115)

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs blew a late lead against the Bills last week, marking the first time in Mahomes' career that Kansas City did not cover as an underdog. It was surprising to see, but it would be even more surprising if the Chiefs don't bounce back and make a statement this week against the 49ers.

San Francisco has one of the best defenses in the NFL, but you need to have both a great defense and a great offense to keep up with Kansas City, and the Niners are averaging just 20.3 points per game on the season. We don't see Jimmy G exceeding that by much, even at home, and the Chiefs offense is simply too good not to approach 28+ points. We'll take the Chiefs in a statement win.
