NFL Parlay for Sunday January 1, 2023
New England Patriots vs. Miami Dolphins

The Patriots are no strangers to winning games you might not expect, and as less than a field goal favorite at home against a Miami Dolphins team without their starting quarterback, we expect them to strike again. Miami had everything to play for last week, and blew a large lead against the Green Bay Packers.
Without Tua under center, we expect this team to struggle to get going. While it might be tempting to back the more successful football team this year, we must remember that this team isn't at full strength. Bill Belichick at home in January is a good formula, we'll take the favorite to cover here.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Houston Texans
Bet Jaguars -3 (-110)
Weeks ago, we wrote about the Jags' chances to come out of nowhere and steal the division crown. The Jaguars have won four of their last five games, and three straight. As one of the hottest teams in the NFL, we don't expect Jacksonville to have a letdown in Week 17 against the lowly Houston Texans.
Houston needs a loss here to hold onto the number one pick over the Chicago Bears. After last week's pointless win against the Titans, we expect Houston to lay down and let the Jags win easily in this one. Back the Jaguars to cover.
Seattle Seahawks vs. New York Jets
Bet Seahawks +2 (-110)
Playoff implications are everywhere in this matchup, as both the Jets and the Seahawks still have dreams of playing in a few weeks. Seattle QB Geno Smith has been on a revenge tour this season, with two wins over teams he used to play for already under his belt in the Chargers and the Giants. The Jets' QB situation itself is a mess right now, and they're probably wishing they still had Smith.
Mike White is back at quarterback for New York, and while he has fared better than Wilson, the Jets still lost two games with him under center as well. We believe Seattle is the better team, with the better quarterback, at home. The Seahawks organization having a playoff pedigree could matter if this one gets close late.
