Quarterbacks dominate the top of the player projections list, with four of the five highest-projected players for NFL Week 1 coming from the position.
- Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens leads all players with a projection of 24.37 PPR points in a matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Jackson is projected for 234.08 passing yards and a robust 57.5 rushing yards.
- Following closely is Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who is projected to score 23.74 PPR points. He is expected to throw for 240.19 yards and rush for 35.26 yards in the highly anticipated AFC showdown.
- Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles is slated to make an impact with a 23.06 PPR projection against the Dallas Cowboys, driven by 214.33 passing yards and 39.08 rushing yards.
- The Washington Commanders’ Jayden Daniels also makes a strong showing with 22.81 projected PPR points, backed by 232.82 passing yards and 43.75 rushing yards against the New York Giants.
- Other notable quarterback projections include Joe Burrow (CIN) at 22.24 PPR points and Patrick Mahomes (KC) at 20.07 PPR points.
Top Running Back Projections
At the running back position, two of the league's most dynamic players are projected to have dominant performances.
- Christian McCaffrey of the San Francisco 49ers is projected to lead all non-quarterbacks in fantasy scoring with 21.17 PPR points in a game against the Seattle Seahawks. His projection is fueled by a league-leading 80.84 rushing yards and 36.53 receiving yards.
- Eagles running back Saquon Barkley is projected for a strong start with 20.78 PPR points against the Cowboys, with a game-high 99.89 projected rushing yards to go along with 17.12 receiving yards.
Ja'Marr Chase Stands Out at Wide Receiver
The lone wide receiver in the top ten, Ja'Marr Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals, is projected to have a productive outing against the Cleveland Browns. Chase’s projection of 20.37 PPR points is driven by a Week 1 high of 87.41 projected receiving yards.

- First Touchdown (FTD): Probability that the player scores the first touchdown of the game.
- Points Per Reception (PPR): Fantasy scoring format where each reception by the player earns 1 full point, in addition to standard yardage and touchdown points.
- Half Points Per Reception (HPPR): Fantasy scoring format where each reception by the player earns 0.5 points, in addition to standard yardage and touchdown points.
