New York Giants at Tennessee Titans - 4:25PM ET

The Titans were the top seed in the AFC last season, but Ryan Tannehill was exposed in a big way and now he no longer has AJ Brown to make him look better on the outside. Tennessee should be able to run the ball at a high level with superstar Derrick Henry still in the mix, but it will be a lot harder for him if Tannehill takes a step back as a passer. New York will surely look to stuff the box and the team also has some big bodies up front to clog the running lanes. That makes it hard to picture the Titans finding a whole lot of offensive success in this game.

As for the Giants offense, we think they'll do just enough to cover in this game — and it wouldn't be too surprising if they ended up stealing this game on the road. New York has a fully healthy Saquon Barkley at its disposal and head coach Brian Daboll is one of the brightest offensive minds in football. He will undoubtedly find unique ways to get Barkley the ball in space, and he'll also look to do the same with talented rookie wideout Wan'Dale Robinson (who the DimersBOT has as one of three players it likes to score two or more touchdowns this weekend).

If Daniel Jones can avoid making big mistakes in this one, it's just hard to see New York not coming up with a way to keep this close enough. Tennessee looks like a team that is primed for disappointment this year. That starts with a shaky performance against New York in Week 1.

PICK: Giants +5.5 (-110 at FanDuel Sportsbook)

Considering we don't expect much from the Titans passing game, we're also looking at the Under on the total in this contest. Even if Tennessee does move the ball, that will be done on the back of Henry, and it will take a lot of time for the team to march down the field with five yard runs.

While we like New York to improve offensively under Daboll, that doesn't mean we think the Giants will go out there and light it up immediately. This is still a team with a below-average starting quarterback. And the Titans should be a good team defensively this year.

On top of all the on-field reasons to like this pick, the Under is 23-8-2 in all Giants games since the start of the 2020-21 season.

PICK: Giants vs. Titans Under 44 (-110 at FanDuel Sportsbook)

Las Vegas Raiders vs. Los Angeles Chargers - 4:25PM ET

The Chargers are a popular pick to take a massive leap this season, but people might be a little too low on the Raiders in this spot. It looks like the public is leaning towards Los Angeles here, but Vegas has a really good shot at keeping this game tight.

The Raiders should have one of the most explosive passing games in the league this year, with an improved version of Derek Carr now having a group of weapons that features Davante Adams, Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow. That trio is going to look great against most NFL defenses, but it should be especially productive against a Chargers defense that looks like it will be without J.C. Jackson on Sunday. With that said, the Raiders could look unstoppable as long as the offensive line holds up against a defense that now has Khalil Mack opposite Joey Bosa.

On the other side of the ball, the Raiders are somewhat shaky in the secondary, but Maxx Crosby and Chandler Jones should be in the backfield all night. That will make life on Justin Herbert really difficult.

Overall, Las Vegas just has the tools required to keep up with this Los Angeles team and this one should come down to the final possession of the game. With that in mind, it's hard not to take the points in a game in which the Raiders could potentially win outright.

PICK: Raiders +3.5 (-110 at FanDuel Sportsbook)
