2022 NFL Season: The Top 3 Bad Beats of Week 11

The NFL season is heading into the home stretch, and the bad beats are getting worse.

If you haven't already, you should consider signing up for DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️ as you can turn a $5 pre-game moneyline bet on any game into a free $200 if your team wins. That will help make those soul crushing bad beats feel a little better!

NFL Week 11 Bad Beats

1. Antonio Gibson lays down at 3 yardline

We ended our Sunday asking our twitter followers for the worst thing that happened to them, and one that popped up frequently was Washington Commanders' running back Antonio Gibson intentionally falling down instead of running in for a sure touchdown to seal the game.

Bettors and fantasy owners alike felt the impact of this one. And while this type of play seems to happen more frequently these days, it doesn't make it any easier to watch those tickets die.

2.  Kadarius Toney's injury sells the SNF Same Game Parlay

Twitter user Plus Money Bob (@BBbets_) was inches away from hitting a 10-leg Same Game Parlay in the Chiefs/Chargers game, but Kadarius Toney getting injured early in the game sealed a loss. Bob needed 35+ receiving yards from Toney to cash the ticket, but Toney left the game with just one receiving target.

Sportsbooks sometimes void bets due to injury, but even a void wouldn't fix the sour taste left in this bettor's mouth. Maybe next week Toney will get revenge?

3. Patrick Mahomes' kneeldown busts a +700 parlay

Any bettor who has ever felt the pain of losing a parlay due to a kneeldown knows it's one of the most brutal ways to lose a bet that exists. Twitter user @LimoncelloPlays had this exact scenario cost him a +700 parlay that was sure to hit.... until it wasn't.

After Watson and Herbert both took care of business, all that remained was Patrick Mahomes to reach 25 rushing yards. As Mahomes led a game-winning drive that featured a handful of big plays with his legs, it appeared this +700 ticket was a sure winner. Until Justin Herbert threw a game-deciding interception, that is. Mahomes came back on the field to kneel the game out, and this winner turned to a loser in a matter of seconds.
