NFL 2021 - Week 7 Betting Trends: Big Wins and QB Covers

Welcome to our weekly article, where we highlight some of the top betting trends identified across the NFL in Week 7 of the 2021 season.

This weekend saw six(!!) teams with byes, decimating a lot of fantasy teams, along with some big wins from faves and underdogs alike.

But in addition to sitting on the couch and watching about 20 hours of football, this weekend also saw us continuing our love of betting on the NFL, with a couple of trends in particular standing out.

Multiple teams win by 14+

Interestingly Week 7 saw a host of teams win by two+ converted TDs, with a mix of favorites and underdogs recording the big wins. Most sportsbooks allow you to pick your own spread for either team, meaning you one example is that could take the Packers -13.5 against the Cardinals this week at big odds.

Titans 27 - 3 Titans

Patriots 54 - 13 Jets

Bengals 41 - 17 Ravens

Packers 24 - 10 Washington

Giants 25 - 3 Panthers

Buccaneers 38 - 3 Bears

Cardinals 31 - 5 Texans

Geno Smith covers again

The 31-year-old vet obviously came in to the starting role at Seattle two weeks again when Russell Wilson went down, and despite not winning yet, he has covered in both games.

Smith joins Dak Prescott (6-0) as the only QBs in the league to cover in every game so far this season.
