Welcome to our new weekly article, where we highlight some of the top betting trends identified across the NFL in Week 3 of the 2021 season.

This week saw the Under continue to hit, whilst the Super Bowl favorites continued their poor run against the spread.

But in addition to sitting on the couch and watching about 20 hours of football, this weekend also saw us continuing our love of betting on the NFL, with a couple of trends in particular standing out.

The Chiefs failed to cover the spread once again

Not only did Kansas City fall to 1-2 on the season, but they also extended their extremely poor record against the spread, which dates back to Week 9 of last season!

In their past 14 games, they've covered just twice, with one of those (vs. Saints) coming by the barest of margins, when they covered a -2.5 line with a 3-point victory.

Under bettors keep on cashing

Early in the season, betting the Over is often the fun thing to do, but if you were looking to make money through the first few weeks of the season (who wasn't?!) then the Under is where you should've been looking.

Over the first three weeks of the 2021 season, the Under is 28-16 in non-OT games, which is a massive hit rate of 64%!
