Home Run Bet: Cal Raleigh (Mariners)

He didn't come through for us last night, but we're going to give the HR King another shot tonight in a better matchup.

As mentioned yesterday, Raleigh's at career-high marks across the board and for the most part, it's not even close. He is completely different and improved player at the dish this year.

To the matchup - Raleigh gets the Astros' Lance McCullers who's having himself a rough year in his limited work. Through 41.2 IP, he's allowed 9 HR, sits in the bottom 4th percentile in Barrel % and Hard-Hit %.

Raleigh has yet to go yard of McCullers in 12 at-bats, but the matchup is as good as it comes.

Home Run Bet: Junior Caminero (Rays)

For our second leg, we're riding with the hot bat of Junior Caminero who smacked a pair of dingers against the vulnerable Orioles last night.

Though he's ranked in the high 60's to mid-70's in most HR analytics, Caminero is a true slugger this year, smacking 25 dingers with one of the fastest bats in all of MLB. That quickness allows him to get a little extra pop despite not squaring up as well as most home run hitters.

He'll face O's starter Dean Kremer who is about as volatile of a pitcher as they come - he's got a number of starts with 0 HR allowed, yet five with 2 or more. The Orioles also sport one of the worst bullpens in the league, giving up 52 HR this season, a bottom three mark in MLB.
