Home Run Bet: Juan Soto (Mets)
Game: Mets vs. Phillies
Dimers Probability: 19.6%
FanDuel Odds: +400
50% Boosted Odds: +600
We'll start off with the $765M man as the Mets take on the Phillies in a pivotal NL East series.
Juan Soto gets a 19.6% probability from DimersBOT and is our No. 1 HR prop on the board over on our Best MLB Props page, giving us fair odds at +400.
While some feel like he's having a down year because of his average and his numbers in 2024, Soto is up to 32 home runs on the season, 9 shy of his career-best 41 with the Yankees last year and should have no problem securing his second-highest total (currently 35).
He's 97th percentile or better in Barrel %, HardHit %, Exit Velo and xSLG and per Statcast, he'd actually have fewer HR adjust for Yankee Stadium than City Field this year.
The Phillies send LHP Jesus Luzardo the mound, who's been pretty good this year, allowing 14 HR in 142.2 IP. However, half of those have come since the All-Star Break, allowing at least 1 HR in 5 of his L7 starts.
He doesn't allow HR to lefties (0 in 35.1 IP) but Soto crushes his top fastball and the changeup, his third primary pitch.
Home Run Bet: Bryce Harper (Phillies)
Game: Mets vs. Phillies
Dimers Probability: 16.2%
FanDuel Odds: +440
50% Boosted Odds: +660
There's a little theme in today's parlay - two former Nationals franchise cornerstones going head-to-head.
That means Bryce Harper is our second leg, as we look for him to go yard for the seventh time this month.
He's having his hottest stretch of the season, hitting nearly a third of his season-long 21 home runs to date in August and more than half (11) since the All-Star Break.
We give Harper a 16.2% probability to hit a home run tonight, which means our fair odds of +515 are well below his boosted odds of +675 thanks to the FanDuel promo.
He'll face LHP Sean Manaea who's given up six home runs in 36.2 IP this year and deploys the 4-seam and sweeper a combined 94% of the time and Harper has averaged over a .600 SLG vs. this pitch mix in 2025.
Dinger Tuesday Home Run Parlay
For those looking to play a longshot, pair these two bets for a +3472 home run parlay, up from +2315 odds pre-boost.
With just one 50% profit boost, you won't be able to boost both singles and this MLB parlay, so you'll have to apply your profit boost strategically across your picks.
Playing the singles gives you a higher chance at a profit, as hitting one is more likely than both, but playing the parlay gives you the biggest total payout.
If you play the parlay, whether with or without the boost, we recommend placing a smaller unit size than you would on a straight wager as it comes with significantly higher risk.
Dinger Tuesday Strategy Guide
If you're looking to make your own selections, consider these tips to help you narrow down your targets from the list of many potential sluggers on Tuesday.
1. High Probabilities
This method is as straightforward as it comes. Bet on the player with the highest probability to hit a home run in any game or multiple games
If you choose this method, then you'll often be betting on the home run leaders like Aaron Judge, Shohei Ohtani, Cal Raleigh., etc at shorter odds. This is a lower upside method, but you'll be backing players who are likely contend for the top of the HR list at the end of the season.
Dimers Pro users can sort by home run props here, use the Dimers Pro Hitter Hub, or pop into the Dimers Pro Discord where we release our Top 25 HR Probabilities every day.
2. Maximum Value
The second strategy we'll look at is to back players with edges in their odds. These are often going to be higher risk, lower probability plays, but they will return big profits if they win.
You'll find these high-value home run props at the top of our home run edges each and every Tuesday, though you may not always find the best odds on FanDuel. That's a very important distinction, because if the value in a particular home run prop is only on an other book, then it may not be a play worth making for Dinger Tuesday since you must place that bet on FanDuel to use your profit boost.
Even still, you can find value on players with high probabilities, or take a shot on an already longer odds play, boosted even higher by a 50% boost.
3. Do the Extra Research
The best way to use Dimers Pro is alongside the wealth of MLB statistics out there. Weather, pitch types, ballparks, head-to-head matchups...these are just a handful of the factors that can weigh into home run props.
Some key factors to look at when making your home run picks:
- Matchup: Your batter's success against the starting pitcher's varying pitch types
- Bullpens: When the starter gets pulled, which teams relievers are serving up dingers?
- Ballpark Factors: Short porch? Elevation boost? Not all parks are built equal
- Head-to-Head History: What has a batter done vs. the starter in the past
- Weather: Cold: bad. Wind: good (in the right direction). Always check the weather reports
With dozens of props available on Dimers Pro, it's always good to check on these other data points to help you narrow down which bets to make.
