First up is a favorite of ours in a divisional matchup as we turn to Pete Alonso to go yard in Nationals Park this Dinger Tuesday.

Alonso has hit six home runs this month, though not since last Tuesday when he smacked a pair. He's been making good contact however, so it's not a slump and if anything, a hitter of his power is due.

As our fifth-most likely home run hitter today with a 20.5% probability, fair odds for Alonso would be about +380 - not what you get on his own, but the boost takes him well over that mark to +480.

His matchup with Nationals starter Jake Irvin is a good one - Irvin is bottom-6th percentile in Barrel % and 7th in Hard Hit, allowing 27 HR this season and at least one in four consecutive starts. His primary pitch mix of 4-Seam, Curve, Slider are all pitches Alonso has at least a .480 SLG against this year.

Home Run Bet: Junior Caminero (Rays)

Next up is one of this year's standout sluggers, 22-year old Junior Caminero of the Rays.

Caminero has the second-fastest bat speed in MLB behind only Oneil Cruz. The difference is Caminero puts about 40% more balls in play and that's led to an outburst of 35 home runs this season, putting him on pace for over 40 in his first full campaign.

He hits the ball all over the park, from corner to corner, pulling the ball with the best of them and he's well-respected as a regular Top 10 HR hitter by our model - he's 8th overall today at 19.8%.

Caimnero takes his 6th-highest SLG in MLB in August into a home matchup vs. the Yankees' Carlos Rodon, who's been effective, but gives up his share of home runs. Rodon throws 4-Seam (41%) and slider (30%) as his top two pitchers, both of which Caminero kills with over a .600 SLG.

As a lefty, Rodon has been hit much harder by right-handed batters, while Caminero (RHB) does well against both sides.

For those looking to play a longshot, pair these two bets for a +2559 home run parlay, up from +1706 odds pre-boost.
