Penn State Nittany Lions vs. Indiana Hoosiers - 7:00PM ET
Two teams that have struggled loudly as of late square off in what feels like a must-win for either side if they are to turn things around in conference play. Penn State's losses are easier to write off as acceptable results though, and the Nittany Lions are 8-1 in true home games on the year. I still believe Penn State can contend in the Big Ten this season, but to do so they have to win this game.
On the flip side, Indiana has fallen apart and doesn't show signs of life. They are now down point guard Xavier Johnson and forward Race Thompson, and they don't look close to the team they were at the beginning of the season. Most recently, they blew a 21-point lead on the road at Iowa (after Thompson got hurt) and lost at home to Northwestern. In Trayce Jackson-Davis' career, the Hoosiers are just 5-26 vs. top 100 opponents on the road. Take Penn State.

Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Arkansas Razorbacks - 7:00PM ET
Alabama has a case for the hottest team in the country right now, winning all of their last four games by double digits. Their only losses this season came to elite teams - UConn and Gonzaga, and when freshman Brandon Miller plays well, the Tide can feel unstoppable at times.
Arkansas is 0-2 this season against top 20 opponents, and they are still searching for that elite win. The Razorbacks have had injury problems all year and are still awaiting the return of Nick Smith. Their best wins are San Diego State, Oklahoma and Missouri, which are all good teams, but none come close to Alabama if they play their A-game.

Rutgers Scarlet Knights vs. Northwestern Wildcats - 9:00PM ET
These two teams have been perennial bottom-dwellers in the Big Ten conference, but this year could be different for both sides. But especially Rutgers - who is the 16th rated team on KenPom and by all accounts seems like a top three team in the Big Ten. They have already gone on the road and found success (beating Purdue at Purdue) and this is a bounce back spot after a let down against Iowa.
Northwestern has been better than usual this year, but we believe it could come crashing down fast. They have been fortunate with timing on their schedule, catching both Illinois and Indiana when both were missing key players. Northwestern has lost in blowout fashion at home twice this year to quality opponents in Pittsburgh and Ohio State already, and Rutgers is capable of being the third.
