College Basketball Best Bets for Saturday, February 25

Iowa Hawkeyes vs. Michigan State Spartans - 12:00PM ET

There is no team in college basketball that has a larger home vs. away discrepancy than the Iowa Hawkeyes. Iowa has scored 80 or more points in nine consecutive home games. The Hawkeyes have not scored 80 points once in their last nine away games. Lucky for Fran McCaffery's group, this game will be played at Carver-Hawkeye arena, and they really need a win. Michigan State has struggled on the road, going just 1-4 in their last five away games. The only win in that span was against Ohio State, who has lost 14 of their last 15 games. Take the Hawks.

Kentucky Wildcats vs. Auburn Tigers - 4:00PM ET

Kentucky is on a roll, winning three consecutive games and in the process going from on the bubble to firmly in the NCAA Tournament. Despite the critics of John Calipari's offense this season, the Wildcats' offense is ranked 15th in the country, and should have no trouble scoring against Auburn on Saturday. Auburn has lost six of their last nine, and the Tigers have only beaten one top 100 team in a month (they are just 1-6 vs. top 100 teams in that span). We expect Kentucky's hot streak to continue with a huge win at home.

Gonzaga Bulldogs vs. Saint Mary's - 10:00PM ET

For the first time in nearly a decade, Gonzaga has not run away with the West Coast Conference regular season title. They still have a chance to earn a share of the crown - but they need a victory at home vs. Saint Mary's to get there. The good news for Zaga is that they are awesome right now. The Zags have scored 99, 88, 108, 97 and 97 points in their last five games. Saint Mary's may have beaten Gonzaga earlier this season, but against a motivated Gonzaga team with plenty to play for, it's a tall task for them to do it again.

BET: Gonzaga -2 (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook
