College Basketball Best Bets for Saturday, December 17

Kansas Jayhawks vs. Indiana Hoosiers - 12:00PM ET

Two teams trending in opposite directions square off here and home court advantage could come into play in a big way. Indiana's last two games away from home have resulted in non-competitive losses against Rutgers and Arizona. Going back even further, in Trayce Jackson-Davis' career at Indiana, the Hoosiers are just 5-24 in true road games against top 100 teams, with an average margin of defeat of over 10+ points per game.

Kansas has been playing great as of late, with a blowout win at Missouri and a dominant win at home against a solid Seton Hall team. It's hard not to love the Jayhawks here, in what should be a crazy environment at The Phog.

BET: Kansas -6 (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook

Virginia Cavaliers vs. Houston Cougars - 8:00PM ET

First team to 50 wins! Many smart people believe Houston is the best team in the country. There's only one problem - the Cougars' offense is stuck in the mud. After years of elite offenses, Kelvin Sampson's team is just the 30th ranked offense this year on Kenpom. They scored just 49 points against Kent State and just 53 points against Saint Mary's.

The last team you want to see if you're struggling offensively is Virginia, especially at home. The Cavaliers don't beat themselves. In addition to their typical stingy defense, Tony Bennett has a team that ranks top 20 nationally in TO rate, free throw rate and three-point shooting percentage. We like Virginia to stay undefeated here.

BET: Virginia ML (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook

Arizona Wildcats vs. Tennessee Volunteers - 10:30PM ET

Tommy Lloyd has quickly asserted himself as one of the best head coaches in the country. In two seasons at the helm, he has yet to lose a game at home (22-0 in that span). This is a matchup between the #1 offense and the #1 defense in the country, and it's Tennessee's first true away game of the season.

You have to be able to keep up offensively with Arizona to beat them. In their only loss, Utah scored 81 points against them. Tennessee's offense is ranked just 48th in the country and has only scored 80 points three times in ten games this season. Add in some road game jitters, and we like Arizona to win big here.

BET: Arizona -3 (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook
