College Basketball Best Bets for Friday, February 3

VCU Rams vs. Saint Louis Billikens - 7:00PM ET

VCU has covered six of their last eight games against the spread. The Rams have won three straight conference road games, and have been one of the toughest outs in the country over the last month, exemplified by quality wins at Dayton and at Davidson. Saint Louis' high-powered offense has dipped since January 1, they had the 43rd ranked offense in the season leading up to that point and since 2023 started, they have the 96th ranked offense. Saint Louis has lost three games to teams outside the top 100 since their last win vs. a team in the top 100.  They are just 3-4 on the year vs. top 100 teams, and two of those wins came in November. We'll take the points with the hotter team.

BET: VCU +3 (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook

Boise State Broncos vs. San Diego State Aztecs - 9:00PM ET

Speaking of hot teams, Boise State is 14-7-1 against the spread on the season and tonight they face San Diego State, who is just 8-12-1 ATS. The main reason the Aztecs haven't been as good as expected is a dip in efficiency from star guard Matt Bradley, whose shooting percentages are down across the board. Boise State has covered six points in ten straight games going all the way back to December 22. On the season, they have covered six points in 21 of 23 games. This is too many points for a Boise State team that is good on both sides of the ball.

BET: Boise State +6 (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook

UNLV Runnin' Rebels vs. Fresno State Bulldogs - 11:00PM ET

This is a revenge game fora UNLV team that is simply a much better basketball team than Fresno State. The Rebels lost by 13 to Fresno State earlier this season, but they have since woken up - winning three straight games in that span. Fresno on the other hand, has lost three straight games since that upset all by double digits. This includes their most recent stinker of a performance against Wyoming, a perfectly average basketball team, where they lost by 23 points. We sense a blowout incoming.

BET: UNLV -9 (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook
