NFL Props for Thursday, October 14, 2021

Bucs vs. Eagles, Thursday Night Football, 8:20pm (EDT)

PICK: Miles Sanders OVER 34.5 rushing yards (-114)

Sanders has gone over this line in three of five games so far this season, with the other two games being when he attempted just 2 and 7 rushes.

At the time of writing, DimersBOT has the running back going for 54 yards this week, which would see him fly past his line!

PICK: Zach Ertz to score 2+ touchdowns (+1600)

This is a bit of a different play, but there's some logic behind it. The Bucs' defense has struggled against TEs a bit so far this season, giving up touchdowns to the following guys:

Week 3 vs. Rams: Tyler Higbee - 1
Week 4 vs. Pats: Pats Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith - 1 each. New England only scored 2 TDs as a team, with both coming from the tight ends.

Furthermore to that, Dallas Goedert looks set to miss after testing positive to COVID-19, meaning Ertz will get even more of the targets than usual. Ertz has already had a 15% share of targets this season, but could easily reach double figures this week with Goedert missing.

The smart play here would be to also take him for an anytime touchdown (+200) as we have in the same game parlay below.

PICK: Tom Brady o2.5 passing TDs (+104)

In three of five games so far this season, TB has thrown 4+ TDs, with two monster games seeing him throw five. He will be without Gronk again this week, but last week proved that he's getting more accustomed to throwing to Mike Evans and Antonio Brown in this Bucs offense, and after the Chiefs put up 42 on the Eagles in Week 4, there should be plenty of opportunities for the GOAT to find his targets in the endzone again here.
