NFL 2021 Week 12: Bears vs. Lions

The Bears and Lions face for the second time this season, with the Chicago side having won 24-14 in the earlier clash. And now as they take on the Lions again, we like them cover the 2.5-point spread put in front of them.
Andy Dalton will take the reins for the Turkey Day opener, with Justin Fields out due to a ribs injury. This change, though. actually gives us a little more confidence that Chicago will get the job done, given the historical form of Dalton against the hopeless Lions.
In two career games against Detroit, Dalton has thrown 610 yards and 4 TDS, with just 1 INT to go alongside those positive stats.
The Bears are coming off four straight losses, but have looked decent defensively against much stronger teams the Lions, so should be confident they can get the job done here by at least a field goal.

The Lions star running back has only totalled 5 receiving yards in his last two games, but one of those was the terrible game against the Steelers and the other was without the returning Jared Goff.
If we look at games that Swift has played with Goff (even including that Pittsburgh game), then he has gone OVER 33.5 receiving yards in six of nine games, with one of the others seeing him finish on exactly33.
With Goff back in the lineup this week and DimersBOT projecting Swift to go for 40 yards, we should be in a good spot with this one.
